whoops!

I made sure iAgent was setup for my work trip to Palo Alto this week. Everything was working fine on the first day, but on the second day I couldn’t connect via my iPhone’s Termius app over my Tailscale VPN to my MacBook Pro running iAgent at home. What happened? My power is out? Internet went out? Someone broke in and stole my laptop? (I have a camera pointed at it on the same WiFi network; I could view the live feed and see my laptop, so it was none of these!).

Well, I’m fairly sure when I was packing at 3 a.m. the morning of the flight, I packed up the laptop charger that was running my personal MacBook. So it just ran out of power and died after a day. Ironically, my work laptop I have here can’t work with the magsafe charger, so bringing it on this trip was worthless and cost me my home setup for a few days. Perhaps it is time for a Mac Mini? Or packing the night before…
